Nokia 6700 Slide REVIEW AND SPECIFICATION
With a design that’s actually quite different from the one of Nokia 6700 classic, the 6700 slide features a 2.2 inch QVGA display, Symbian UI, HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, 5MP autofocus camera, and a 2GB MicroSD card in the box.

Nokia 6700 slide will be available in no less than six color versions: pink, red, purple petrol blue, lime and aluminum. The phone’s retail price (HARGA) will be of €160 ($239).

Despite the similar name, the 6700 Slide is actually an S60 smartphone where the Classic version is not. This means that the Slide is much more capable and expandable than the Classic, although it is questionable if many customers in this market segment will actually care.

On the back is a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. Video recording is up to 640 x 480 pixels at 15 frames per second. On the front is a 2.2" 240 x 320 pixel display in 16 million colours, which we think is a bit small for a phone of this type.

This is a 3.5G device with both HSDPA and HSUPA high-speed data, giving a maximum download speed of 10.2 Mbps and uploads of up to 2 Mbps. There are two tri-band WCDMA variants depending on region, and the 6700 Slide also supports quad-band GSM. In other words, the 6700 Slide should be able to deliver high-speed data in most markets worldwide.

The 6700 Slide supports microSD expandable memory (with a 2GB card in the standard sales package) and comes with Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0 connectivity. Audio output is through a 2.5mm connector, which is a bit surprising seeing as most new media phones seem to have a 3.5mm one. The 6700 Slide also comes with an FM radio and of course a very decent multimedia player.

Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition REVIEW
Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition (or just "MTVE" for short) is a DVB-H enabled handset aimed at those markets where a mobile digital TV rollout is taking place.Based on DVB-H technology, the Nokia 5330 Mobile TV edition sports a 2.4-inch screen for super sharp images on the move. The headset doubles as an antennae for clear reception and together with Nokia’s own Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) it makes watching TV on the move a joy.

The device also packs Nokia Messaging so users can keep on top of email and Instant Messaging, the latter supporting Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ and AOL amongst others. Pictures are taken care of by the 3.2-megapixel snapper, whilst dedicated music keys take care of the audio side of things. It’ll also sport links to Nokia Music Store, where available and the device is also compatible with Comes with Music.

No need to worry about the 5330 running out of juice before the final whistle either. With six hours of battery for TV watching, you’ll be able to watch a couple of matches and still have time for a few calls. Standby time runs to about 14 days on this series 40 based device.

Regular readers may remember the original Nokia 5330 XpressMusic which was announced back in March, but this handset failed to materialise and was presumably cancelled. That version of the 5330 was notable for being an exceptionally ugly device to look at, but the MVTE version has been redone in glossy black with silver highlights and looks much better - Nokia say that there is a glossy white version available too.

It's perhaps a strange phone for mobile TV - the 5330's display is a standard 2.4" 240 x 320 pixel panel which isn't exactly huge. The DVB-H picture displays in landscape (wide) mode, so it does make the best use of the limited display. The rest of the phone is pretty straightforward - it's a 3G device (but doesn't support 3.5G data), comes with GPS and Nokia Maps, a media player, an FM radio, a 3.2 megapixel camera and all the other usual features that you would expect from a midrange Nokia such as Bluetooth and microSD expandable memory.

Nokia 5235 Review and Specification
It’s all about choices right? Nokia adds yet another touchscreen device called the Nokia 5235. It is supposed to be a successor to the recently released 5230. It features Comes With Music, 3.2 inch touchscreen, 2 megapixel camera, and more.

Based on the previously-released Nokia 5230, the new touchsreen phone, oddly enough, isn't part of the company's XpressMusic lineup (there's no dedicated music keys). However, it does integrate some nifty multimedia talents, a 3.5mm audio jack and 3.6Mbps HSDPA for fast song downloads.

Details of the new handset include a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display (360 x 640 resolution), a 2.0 megapixel camera module (with an impressive 30fps of VGA video recording), GPS (with Ovi Maps preinstalled) and microSD card expansion (up to 16GB). Apart from the music capabilities, it's also a functional smartphone running Symbian S60 5th Edtion. As such, it comes with the rest of Nokia's Ovi suite of apps, include Contacts and Mail.

If you're not familiar with Nokia's Comes With Music, it's a music download service that's integrated with the price of the phone. In the case of the Nokia 5235, you can choose to get unlimited free downloads of DRM-protected songs for either 12 or 18 months, after which the entire inventory is yours to keep.

Nokia 2720 Fold
According to extensive Nokia consumer research, nearly half of emerging market customers state that they would rather connect to the Internet over a mobile phone than a PC. As a result, Nokia has developed locally relevant solutions that consist of affordable mobile phones and applications, designed and built from the ground up to meet the specific needs of customers in the developing world.

Nokia Life Tools is a service that enables people to make better informed decisions, find timely and relevant information, access learning opportunities and enjoy entertainment regardless of time or place. In a pilot study in India, results showed that the services had high appeal for livelihood and life improvement services. Another service aimed at the developing world is Ovi Mail, which has the potential to be the first digital identity for many people in emerging markets. Unlike most other email services, an Ovi Mail account can be created and used directly on a Nokia device without ever having to use a PC. Since the launch of the beta service in December 2008, around 90 per cent of the accounts have been created on a Nokia phone.Competetively priced and equipped at EUR 80, the Nokia 2730 classic is Nokia's most affordable 3G phone offering faster access to the internet and a richer browsing experience. With the steady spread of 3G data networks across the developing world, the Nokia 2730 classic is ideal for staying connected with friends and family, and sharing one's life with others. The Nokia 2730 classic is expected to start shipping in the third quarter of 2009.

The Nokia 2720 fold is a compact fold phone with an exciting mirror-effect design, which helps people stay organized with easy access to email, calendar, Internet connectivity and file sharing applications. Email can be activated by completing a simple three step set-up process, and in select markets will be offered with Nokia Life Tools.
